Insurance & Liability Disclaimer

Visiting Aircraft Insurance(Required)
Norwich Aviation Centre Ltd (known here as NAC) provides Public Liability Insurance and Employers Liability Insurance; NAC ensure suitable insurance for passengers engaged in flights that NAC operate. I will ensure my aircraft is airworthy and insured for risks with a minimum cover of £5,000,000. I insure my aircraft for all risks which may be associated with damage to NAC operated aircraft by my aircraft or flying operations. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge and agree to indemnify and hold harmless NAC from any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action which may be in any way connected with my participation in flying or the use of NAC’s equipment or facilities, including all such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of Service Provider.

Norwich Aviation Centre Ltd (known here as NAC) provides Public Liability Insurance and Employers Liability Insurance; NAC ensure suitable insurance for passengers engaged in flights that NAC operate. Being aware that participation in flying entails risks which could result in serious physical, mental or emotional injury or trauma, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, third parties and my own or others' property, I expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks of flying, including but not limited to those listed above. My participation in flying is purely voluntary, no one is forcing me to participate, and I elect to participate in spite of the risks. I fully understand that I may elect to not participate in any given flight at any time. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge and agree to indemnify and hold harmless NAC from any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action which may be in any way connected with my participation in flying or the use of NAC’s equipment or facilities, including all such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of Service Provider.

Pilot Insurance(Required)
Aircraft insurance does not provide any personal cover for Pilots In Command. However, the insurance does cover for passengers, the aircraft and other 3rd party assets involved in any claim As a pilot or student pilot, you are strongly advised to arrange your own life insurance to cover all risks associated with your flying activities, this may include just notifying your life insurer of your flying. NAC provides public liability insurance as any company does but your personal life insurance cover is your responsibility. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Norwich Aviation Centre Ltd, its employees, agents, and contracted staff from any and all claims, losses, damages, or injuries to you howsoever caused. You further acknowledge our advice to obtain insurance to cover any losses, injuries, or damages sustained in connection with the pursuit of your flying activities; failure to insure yourself does not imply a responsibility or onus on Norwich Aviation Centre Ltd to provide such cover.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy(Required)
NAC charge a cancellation fee for cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation time or for "no shows." Cancellation fees will be waived where it can be reasonably demonstrated that you were unable to attend the reservation due to circumstance beyond your control or where it can be demonstrated that it was unsafe to conduct the flight (ie. poor weather, Aircraft Technical issues, illness, injury) or through force Majeure. In cases of "no show" where you do not arrive for an Reservation time then the cancellation fee will be charged unless in cases of force majeure.

NAC Club Membership

Membership Fees(Required)
NAC's club membership fees cover the onboarding costs, software use and access and access to our insurance benefits as well as other back office costs. Club membership is payable prior to the commencement of your flight training and after your trial lesson. Membership fees are non-refundable after 14 days or once you commenced your first flight with us as they cover the costs of software implementation and insurance which you benefit from on day one. Should we collect payment and the payment fails we will charge any banking charges for the failed payment plus our administration fee. Should you wish to cancel your membership you agree to notify NAC in writing to operations@NorwichAviationCentre.co.uk with at least 30 days notice of your intention to cancel your membership.
